End of Season Reflections & What’s Coming Next

Hey flower friends!

I wanted to take a moment to talk about a few things that have come up over the past couple of weeks.

I’m a seasonal grower, which means that once the first hard frost hits this fall, I’ll no longer have any fresh specialty cut flowers available for the season.

But here’s the good news:

While our fall subscriptions have technically ended, some of you have asked to keep receiving weekly bouquets until the frost comes, which I love! I'm more than happy to keep delivering fresh flowers until Mother Nature says otherwise. 💐

That extra support helps fund things like:

  • Tulip bulbs 🌷

  • Ruckus cams for farm monitoring 📹

  • Seeds & supplies for next season 🌱

  • And... anatomy? (Yes, it's a long story! 😂)

I deeply appreciate you helping extend the season—your support means the world to me. 💕

🍂 What’s Still Available This Fall & Winter

Even after fresh flowers are gone, there’s still a lot blooming behind the scenes!

  • Workshops using dried flowers

  • (Hopefully) a winter greens workshop using foraged and organic greenery

  • Fresh local eggs, honey, and goat milk soap still available at the farm shop

  • Gift certificates for the holidays - perfect for Christmas, Valentine’s, or Mother's Day

💐 When Will Flowers Be Back?

If all goes well, I’ll be back with spring blooms around mid-February, unless hellebores or anemones come even earlier!

I hope to have flowers for:

  • Valentine’s Day

  • Mother’s Day

  • And everything in between!

🎁 Spring subscriptions will open soon—
They make a lovely gift for flower lovers during the holidays!

🌿 2025 Season Planning Is Underway!

Yes, I’ll be taking a little downtime—but honestly, I’m already full of ideas for next year. I’m working on:

  • New planting layouts and schedules

  • The You-Pick field (it’s coming!)

  • A dedicated pollinator bed 🐝

  • An updated calendar of events & pop-ups

So please keep checking back in and follow along as we prepare for a beautiful 2025 season. I’m more excited about the upcoming season than I am about taking time off and can’t wait to see my loyal customers again

🪴 What About Garden Plants?

Some of you have asked if I’ll be offering plants for your gardens next year, and the short answer is: I’m working on it! It’s a longer process than I anticipated, but it’s in the works—stay tuned!

While I’m exhausted and sore from the 2024 flower season, I’m not quite ready to say goodbye. Thank you all so much for the love, loyalty, and continued support of our little flower farm in Dickson, Tennessee.

Here’s to dried flowers, winter workshops, and dreams for a bright 2025 season!

With love,
🌸 Valerie
